Here's what you do:
Go to google and google your name with the word 'needs' after it. Put it all in quotes like this:
"Harvey needs" or "Darren needs"
Make a list of the first 10 things that make sense that google spits out. Tag anyone you're interested in having do this. This is actually quite funny!
Disclaimer: these aren't really me!
(the stuff in parentheses are my commentary)
Carisa needs...
1. to be profiled and popularised within the broader research community as well as the South African population in general.
2. to collect and process certain elements of your Personal Data in the course of the registration
3. a verbal kick in the teeth, though. I don't see how the final product was all her idea. Her donut idea was kind of silly to begin with
4. to apologize to her husband, Thomas for kidnapping their baby when he forbid her from seeing him because of her drinking habits.
5. personal attention and compliments for assignments well done. while carisa is very stable
6. a beach day
7. to go home. That's all.
8. 3 tables to eat on.
9. a hug.
10. not to always be afraid, sooner or later, there will be a triumph over difficulties! Yes, Carisa is strong enough to get over this.

Walking
Well we all knew this day was coming. Cicily took her first steps on her own today. Nick was happy he was there for it, he misses a lot with school and work. she's taken 6 steps in a row before she falls. She was really happy when she realized what she was doing.

Cicily's adventures!
Cicily keeps me on my toes that's for sure. Yesterday she ate a wrapper and threw it up along with her food all over the bottom of the stairs. I'm just glad she didn't choke on it. Then this morning she had her first taste of dog food before I was able to take the two pieces out of her little fist and the piece she got in her mouth. I don't think she was able to swallow any. Yuk! I can't turn my back on her for even a second. Earlier I turned my back for a second and she made it up four stairs before I could get her.
Wedding
This last weekend my family came down for Midori's wedding. It was nice to see everyone and meet Midori's mom and sister. It also made it easier and more fun for me this valentines, because my husband was in California at a dance competition. Nick did well at the competition him and his partner made it to the semifinals. My parents got to see Cicily and how active she is. My mom saw me changing Cicily's diaper( which is always fun) and told me that when I was her age my mom had to hold me down with her foot to change my diapers.

Taxes
It's funny how the media has made taxes out to be this horrible thing, when every year I'm excited to do our taxes. I think it might have something to do with how poor we are, but we're doing our taxes today and I'm excited to get some money back.

Penmanship 101
When I started our blog I didn't think I would have that much to say, it seems Cicily wants to be an attention hog though. Today she really wanted to write with a pen. To bad she didn't follow these simple rules.
1. use paper
2. don't stick pen in mouth
3. don't write on face
You wouldn't think it would be that hard, but Cicily never takes the easy way on anything.

Lost Wallet!
Over the last couple of days Nick and I have been tearing apart our room, the house and our car trying to find his wallet. We could not find it anywhere. We had been praying as well. Then this morning I put Cicily on the floor in our room and said maybe she'll find it. She crawled over to the door, meaning she wanted to go downstairs. So I took her downstairs and set her on the floor. I sat down and was reading the newspaper when I heard her playing with something under the computer desk. So I looked down and she had Nick's wallet! We were so happy! Mike made the comment "Never send a man to do a child's job"(Reinactment)
Standing
Well we thought that Cicily would crawl for awhile before she would stand on her own. We were wrong. We already know she's going to be walking soon, because she's so good at running while holding our hands. She started standing on her own today with the diapers in the video, but it quickly turned into anything she could grab (such as the bars in her crib). Needless to say we had to drop her bed down a little so she can't get out.
Cicily Crawling!
Cicily has been crawling for the last week which has been great. I know most people dread this, but I have been looking forward to it. Cicily is quite the adventurer and very active. She wants to go everywhere all the time and the only time she stops is to eat and sleep even changing her diaper is an adventure especially the poopy ones. Even before you get the diaper off she's trying to escape, she rolls over and tries to crawl away.
