WOW!

We just watched the launch of the space shuttle discovery from our apartment! It was amazing! It was awe inspiring!

We could see it better then in the picture and the video. It was amazing we were listening to the count down on the TV and watching out the window. All of a sudden the trees were light from behind like fire was behind them and the shuttle shot from behind the trees. We could see the shuttle for a few seconds, but then it looked like a comet shooting into the sky it had a huge tail behind it. The Video and picture don't do it justice.

We made it!

So all of us made it to Florida. Nick's been down here for a couple of weeks, but Cicily and I only arrived yesterday. I was kinda scared to fly with Cicily, because she doesn't like sitting still at all. She tried to run away 3 times in the airport. When we were boarding the plane I was carrying her and she was screaming and kicking, I'm pretty sure several people were afraid they were going to have to sit next to us. Luckily she wore herself out getting on the plane cause as soon as we sat down she went to sleep. I was soooooo happy she slept for 2 hours, and the couple we sat next to were really nice and sweet. Their children didn't have any kids so they've adopted one of thier friends grandchildren and act like her grandparents. Everyone on the plane thought Cicily was adorable. She only got upset twice on the plane, becuase I wouldn't let her run around. The second time she moved her diaper somehow tying to get away and peed all over herself and me. Unlucky for us the plane didn't have any changing tables. (we asked). A couple of guys acrossed the aisle from us came over and let me change Cicily on thier seats. It really helped alot! Luckily I also had a change of clothes for her. Then when we landed the sweet couple next to me helped me with my bags till we saw Nick. Orland airport has a tram you have to ride to get to your luggage Cicily really liked it alot. Nick was sooo happy to see us, and he was watching where our flight was in the air so he knew we were 20 min. early. At first when we stepped out in to the humidity it was really strong, but now I don't think it's so bad it just feels like you just got out of the shower. I think Cicily really likes it, becuase she loves baths. There are tons of trees everywhere! I really kinda like it here.

Going To Florida!

Well tomorrow's the day. I'm kinda nervous about flying for 4 hours with Cicily. She's just so active I don't know if she can sit still for that long. I'm also kind of scared to go somewhere soooo different. The farthest east not including Europe I've ever been is Colorado, and that's still considered the west. I'm also going to miss having family around. I won't be able to go to my sister's next door or visit Mary or Tiff. It will be a fun adventure though, and we will come back in January.

Farm Country!

Thanksgiving Point has Two Buck Tuesdays! Mary, Rachel, Cicily, and I all went. It was a ton of fun and well worth the money.

Cicily and Rachel loved all the different animals.

Cicily really liked the horses!

And so did Rachel!

We even got to milk a fake cow. (water came out)

Lie-Clocks

My grandpa told sent me this joke and I liked it so much I thought I'd share it with the readers of my blog.

A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of Saint Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

He asked "What are all those clocks?"

Saint Peter answered, "Those are Lie-Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie-Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move."

"Oh," said the man, "who's clock is that?"

"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."

"Incredible," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"

Saint Peter Responded, "That's Abraham Lincoln's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life."

"Where's President Obama's clock?", asked the man.

"Obama's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan."

Florida!

Nick's been driving to Florida the last couple of days and made it there yesterday. We just found out that we get the apartment we've been hopeing for, and Nick's gonna start setting things up and getting what we need. We're way excited! Cicily and I will be heading down on the 18th and Nick can't wait he really misses us. On the way down to Florida though he stoped at his Aunt and Uncles to stay the night and did some early morning fishing with his cousin.

CIcily Lately!

Lately we've just been hanging out having fun. Cicily's been running though the sprinkler. Or maybe I should say running with the sprinkler.

She's all smiles playing with the dogs and her vacuum.

Grandpa helped Cicily make this mess with her animal crackers.

Cicily's been wanting to help with the dishes for a long time, so we found a way for her to feel like she's helping with out being unhelpful.
